Opt Out Form
As part of Virginia's
ENERGY CHOICE
program Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative plans to open
its Virginia system to CHOICE the first of April this year.
One of the provisions of CHOICE required by the Virginia State
Corporation Commission and the restructuring legislation
passed by the General Assembly is that each electric utility
must provide a list of all of its consumers to any licensed
competitive service provider that requests it. This list is
referred to as the "mass list" and must include among other
items, each consumer's name, address (both billing and
service), account number and 12-months of energy use history.
If you do not want SVEC to release this information you may
"Opt Out" of the mass list. You may do this by completing
the form below.
