Community
Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative is dedicated to bringing you and your communities reliable electricity at the lowest possible cost, and the Cooperative's commitment to the community does not stop there.
SVEC Scholarship Information
Over the last 14 years, SVEC has offered scholarships to area youth who seek higher education, and will award four scholarships this year. The only requirements for a student to apply for the scholarship are that their parents, or guardians must be member/owners of Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative and the student must attend a high school located in the counties served by the Cooperative.

SVEC Safety Demonstrations
The most important thing with electricity is safety. SVEC is pleased to present to schools and other organizations our safety demonstration, which is a kit that we use to go through various scenarios, showing students places where they might encounter potentially dangerous situations with electricity. Usually used for classes/children fourth grade and below. If you would like more information about a demonstration for your group, please
e-mail Cammie Tutwiler.
SVEC Volunteer Efforts
Throughout the years, SVEC employees have volunteered their time and made donations to several different organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, bowling for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and supporting the area's schools in many ways.
